My Fissure/Fistula Nightmare in Canada

... but I no longer live in Oshawa so my mom says to find a doctor close to my new house. I find another surgeon after going to the hospital, then the RUDD clinic in downtown Toronto, then to the michael garron hospital in east Toronto, months of waiting. I meet with DR Amandeep Pooni, he basically ...

Re: 3 years post-fissure: permanent pain but no fissure?

Unfortunately I don't know French. The name of the clinic is Rudd. What kind of surgery you had? Yes , sitting pain is my major problem too. Being a male I want to check my prostate too but 2 scans and other tests show it's normal. I'm inclined to believe ...

kamard2300, I'm from Canada too. How did your journey start? What's your current situation if i may ask? There's this rudd clinic in Toronto I've heard they're specialized in this area. I don't know about you but I have hard time finding CRSs with track record in this field.

If you do a search on this board, you will find info about Rudd. I had forgotten about them, but there have been discussions.

Re: I survived a cutting seton (and so can you)

Thanks Cha. I have a feeling I'll be in for a long wait from here on in.

I believe the Rudd Clinic may perform these procedures privately. Anyone know how they work?

Re: HELP - 2nd Anal fissure, Rudd Clinic surgery and MY STOR

The 'small area' that you refer to, is that the fissure location? Surprising that the doctor will not pursue Botox or surgery because if you have a spasm then the fissure cannot heal.

HELP - 2nd Anal fissure, Rudd Clinic surgery and MY STORY

... stool but did not think it could be the same after almost 3 years. I was first diagnosed with hemorrhoids in a walk-in clinic and then referred to Rudd Clinic in Toronto in January 2017. First appointment at Rudd Clinic: When the Dr Rudd himself checked me, he said it was a chronic fissure with ...

One Month Post-Fistulotomy (28 year old gay man)

... hemorrhoid. It was also regularly discharging and bleeding (only spotting). I asked my doctor for a referral to a specialist and he sent me to the Rudd Clinic in Toronto. For anyone from Toronto, I would consider going elsewhere. First, I've had two experiences there and in both I felt that they ...

2.5 years update

... long now, hard to imagine the trials and tribulations I've been through. Anyways, I'm still alive and kicking. I had a LIS done 1.5 years ago at Rudd clinic that did nothing good - same spasms after. And I had two rounds of botox, last one was done almost a year ago. I no longer get spasms, but ...

Re: Rudd Clinic

thx Hafzaal. I think McKenna has his own version of LIS. No stitches. He makes one cut at the backside of the internal sphincter.
