My doctor is very against using wipes because of the things they put in them. I did feel better not using them and using just plain water. I bought a bottle that is specifically for cleaning after bms. I've also heard metamucil can cause bigger bms. Maybe try benefiber instead? So thankful your fissure is GONE!!!!!

What type of bottle?
I switched from metamucil to benefiber for that reason. My doctor likes both, but said you need to drink a ton of water. I think the benefiber works better.

I carry two "tucks take along towelettes" in my wallet just in case I am in a public stall. These are individual wrapped. My first choice is water on a high quality TP.
