yes I was originally scheduled to have it on Oct. 29th but they had to cancel me Dr. had something else going on with another patient so I went back to work next day I was scheduled to have it on my day off so I didn't miss anywork for that so yes I have been back to work and I am fortunate that my job is working with me because I had already ask for 2 weeks off at the time for the surgery then I had to tell them i wasn't having it then and I had to figure out when I could get that time off since other people already had scheduled time off so I called yesterday and they have me down for Dec 5th which is fine with me I really didn't want to be laying in bed on Thanksgiving and praying I will be better by Christmas

well tomorrow is the big day I am just now starting to get nervous about it of course when you think of surgery well for me anyway its like how bad will they cut me how long before i can go back to work, is it worse than I can see all the negative things, but I try so hard to be positive I guess one reason why is because I have been cut down there many times for abcesses and then for hemorrhoid surgery also, really tired of the cutting and pain well just pray all goes well and a speedy recovery

had the surgery last thursday Dec 5th. Had to have a draining seton put in because the fistula was still infected. Have been feeling okay first couple days uncomfortable, but for the most part feeling pretty good. Go back to Dr. on the 18th and go from there to see what is next will keep you updated and thanks for asking.

so for having a fistulotomy he only laid open part of the wound the abscess part or hole i guess you could say on the bottom part of my butt cheek and did the seton so not a fistulotomy that was planned he said this seton may or may not heal the tract we shall see
