Seems like it pulls all up to the tailbone?! I guess all of the muscles are connected...

quick question....not sure but pain and spasms seem better but there is a constant feeling like a clogged tightness, in rectum i guess its just the tightened muscle.. that is what eventually relaxes and gets back to normal once healed i presume, just cant sit feeling like there is a knot or charliehorse up in there. Still afraid to sit sooooouncomfortable to walk around or function with this ever present feeling. its like gravity also puts pressure so cant stand for long either..ugh (like gas or need to go to bathroom all the time. or sometimes like the muscle is hard like granite and pressurized. Please tell me this goes away eventually.. and I will be normal again..seems higher up near tailbone maybe internal hemms create inner pressure and fullness also. Praying they all disappear...say it will...lol Its been 6 long months...Praying the new year holds healing for all...

Hi hope your sill doing well, just wondering if the fissure and tightness left once you were healed? Was your fissure an internal fissure? And when could you sit down? the burning aching and tightness granite hard muscle is still there, botox def caused some new inflammation soreness etc something popped out to external hem? also told I had 2 internal do not want to keep going to this general surgeon,, cant work, cant drive, did you work, I pretty much have to lay on my side most of the time...its been almost 7 months... just wondering hoping you could let me know that when it's healed it gets better right now seems to be the same just worse and different different days, trying to figure out how to tell if improvement is really improvement....

Quick Question... was yours internal, since I think mine is the internal spchincter muscle that is constantly clenched. That is the one I need to smooth out... Your right I am sure it takes time, since you had yours a year I seen how it would need time to retrain back to normal. Little by little is better than not at all. I figure it has to spontaneously settle down and relax at some point.. You would think having lots of babies it would be tuckered out by now. I had six and it is still going crazy not sure to try Pelvic Floor Therapy or not. I don't want to make it tighter it just needs to go back to the way it was, didn't bother me before this happened. Ugh

Yea that is my concern with therapy as wel but I am getting desperate and I might try. Yes I think it is my internal sphincter because it feels inside my anal canal. Then again, it's hard for me to be 100% sure. Please keep me in mind if you find any relief and I will do the same.

Yay,, The surgeon told me today the fissure is healed... 3 weeks after Botox.. !!! I have the ext hem and inflamed two internal which probable explains the tightness and discomfort higher up, it pulls on those muscles up to the tailbone. So I am sure now that I am on the right road to being painfree. Might try the Physical Therapist, to help sort things out. Still so sore though after going, and as soon as I wake up in the morning,it starts to tighten all over again.. I guess that muscle memory still kicks in so have to figure out how to ignore that feeling somehow, it's been there for 6 months so I suppose will take more time to calm down. Can't Wait!!

Ok so the surgeon said the fissure healed and called today to let them know still having constant and continued pain tightness in the surrounding muscles. Told her the muscles need to be retrained etc. The Nurse said he only treated the fissure area not the pelvic floor muscles so that 's why still having issue, but scheduling Reiki healing and acupuncture and physical therapy they all will help heal the muscles and spasms and quiet the pain. Need a specialist but it does work I am told.

You were right... it does get better slowly, no sugar, no soda, no dairy. The muscles and nerves are SLOWLY but surely recovering it seems. I actually went to dinner with my family and sat in a chair... lol I still have constant discomfort but no where near before. Very gradual but it is now 3 months healed from fissure but the hems internal that were inflamed I think from the botox are what is left. And probably they are the reason for the muscle and full feeling and higher up dull achy feelng. Just wanted to thank you again. Your info was very helpful...and put me at ease.. Hope all is still well with you. Soon I will post my success story too, Blessings..!
