Oh GG I feel excited for you sounds like a great physio for you! I am sure that will give you added relief and yes the stomach issues will also fade away as well. As far as fissure pain as well, I am doing well. I am able to do most of my normal routine, slowly its getting better and better, and I repeat sooo slowly! So not even sure if the Botox wore off yet? I can't believe it's 6 months already, But I still have the vague dull ache tailbone area, but some days are better than others, and since the fissure is healed since feb it's 3.5 months, and the dr said likely takes at least 6 months, for some, Happy yours is gone! So you muscle pain is gone!? I am going to start yoga next week, to hopefully help finish relaxing that area, and be hopefully back to normal by Aug for my daughters wedding. I hate to not hear from you, I am sure we would all love to post completely pain and symptom free before exiting permanently so I am sure support is welcomed no matter what!! Hope to always check in to help, it's been a comfort also for me for sure, from everyone as well!!

Hiya GG!

So good to hear your news - and you sound so much more upbeat as a result! Your new pelvic floor physio sounds like she'll be worth the wait too! Being an Olympic Weightlifter she'll have a much better perspective of where you want to get to, rather than just thinking you should be happy being able to do the basic daily activities which it seems so many physios seem to think is all you need to aspire to...

Thanks for asking, but I had some good and bad news at my most recent meeting with my CRS 10 days ago. He advised that my incision site and AF were 'pretty much healed'. When I asked why I was still experiencing so much pain then, he gave me a thorough examination and concluded that I'd got a 'double-whammy' and was also suffering from infected pilonidal sinuses (most likely as a result of over-developed gluteal muscles, swelling from surgery and a hairy backside lol!). I've had one course of antibiotics, which failed to touch it, so am waiting to pick up stronger antibiotics on Friday. I'm keeping my fingers crossed because if these fail, then I most likely face another op! :verysad: .

Funnily enough, like you I've been wondering if I should continue to keep posting, bearing in mind my fissure is supposedly healed. I sincerely hope that as a valued member of this community, that you continue to do so - I think we all want to hear the day when you tell us you're back doing what you love once more...

Take care

Do check in once in a while and let us know how you're doing GG. Your new physio sounds great and I'm sure she will help you get back to doing what you love. I'm sorry the abscess is still not healed. Is the CRS sure it's not a fistula or anything? I don't want to throw scary words out there but it's good to get it fully examined.

Sending you healing vibes and good wishes.

GG, Hope you are making headway with the new physio, my pain is good now, just discomfort, and it is continually better, I have also scheduled private yoga next month and found a pelvic floor specialist about 45 minutes away that can do first 30 days of treatment direct without provider then will work out a deductible for insurance. So hoping this knocks out the remainder. I am feeling hopeful for everyone here that you all improve drastically over the next few weeks and we can all collectively go the success pages once and for all... here's to complete healing!!!! Blessings...everyone...
