Sadly this happens so often. I choose my current CRS because it said in his history that he choose his profession because his father had anorectal disease and ended up dying of colon cancer in his early 50's. When I first met him, it took me only a few minutes to know he was my new doctor - forever. So kind, understanding and knowledgeable.
This was after a 2 year search and 3 other colo-rectal surgeons and 2 general surgeons. He was the one that said I need to be mentally ready for flap surgery, that I would know when I was ready and we needed to do as little surgery as possible. He was kind and the exam was gentle and patient. Very good article thanks Sav!!
