Well I think I will still use it, maybe 1/3 of a teaspoon at night time. That might be enough to lube up the BM but no diarrhea. I guess it's all about moderation.

Hey everyone in Canada...so I bought Lax a Day today and will be starting it.

What's a good dose to start off with? And do you take it with food or empty stomach?

Reading toothdoctor's experience really freaked me out. I want it to start working asap, but also not risk diarrhea.

I'm taking EVOO already (and magnesium on some days), so I'm not 100% relying on stool softeners. Just need it to be a bit softer than normal to prevent bleeding.
