Flew to Australia (first time on a plane) and only stayed for five days to propose marriage to my wife who was studying there for a semester.
Totally worth the 24 hour flight.
Honeymooned in Amsterdam for the sweet, sweet sensamilla, and the gorgeous sights and sounds. Such a quiet, yet bustling city!

Etosha Pan - Namibia. Had such a wonderful time there, as were so few people and so many animals. Have so many great photos from those days.

The Alhambra, Spain, seeing you write of Spain, ETO. Wonderful place, Wisteria in bloom, Moorish architecture. Gorgeous - and so many memories.

Sav, I have such a passion for Spain (apart from the real touristy bits!)
The Alhambra is amazing as is the fabulous Mezquita in Cordoba. Those moorish arches are breathtaking. I have wonderful wonderful memories of being fortunate enough to live a while in that wonderful country....

Loved Spain, ETO.
Bath, Somerset, England. Amazing town. Georgian and Roman too. Married there and spent three weeks there. Just great
