What sources of pain can an anoscope miss?

Postby William2 » 21 Nov 2017, 08:16

After multiple anoscope exams, my CRS has ruled out a fissure and says my hemorrhoids are all grade 1. In other words, I shouldn't be feeling any pain. However, I still feel pain with BMs (sometimes with blood) and other times. What could cause that kind of pain down there that won't be seen with an anoscope?
8/09 - 12/10: fissure, cured by LIS/fissurectomy
1/17 - present: fissure/hemms, healed but pain remained, 3 CRSs (nifedipine, infrared coag) were no help, cold dilating >= 1" helped but still have pain when sitting
