Postby Idol79 » 13 Nov 2011, 18:15

Hi guys...Going through such a rough time at the moment, does anyone know if you can still heal with a fissure say through botox after having one for 5 years on and off, but more on lol. Also any ideas why im not healing all of a sudden like i did in the past? and in pain all through the day even after soft bm's?? Image

Hi idol, I think first of all u need to ascertain are u dealing with fissures or piles. Both symptoms are rather similar and thus it is often misunderstood. If urs is a chronic fissure for so many yrs then most probably u are a gd candidate for surgery. Humans wear and tear as we age, so does our ability to heal, coupled with many other factors like ur bowel habits, lifestyle and diet.

I understand the pain, y don't u go back to see the CRS since u mentioned it's a year ago? Don't worry, there's hope. U can read "my success story", do a search and u can find it. U can get some ideas there.
If all else fails, there's always surgery which many ppl are better off here. U can also try the nitro or diltizam which ur CRS will prescribe. These can achieve the same as LIS, but temporarily. Thus, unless u can heal faster then u retear, it can still work

You can heal after years, I'm 15 months post LIS and have healed successfully on several occasions only to have a re-tear, it's all because the anus has been compromised, that is my theory..
