10 months after LIS feel to have BM all the time

Postby iaminpain » 19 Jan 2012, 22:35

Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone has experienced this after LIS surgery. I had mine about 10 months ago and for the first 4 months i was healing well but then i started to have this heaviness feeling in my anus as if it is falling down and feeling to have BM all the time. The feeling increases if I walk for a few minutes and settles a bit when I sit for a while. My surgeon does not see fissure any more and wants me to get physical therapy. I saw another surgeon lately and he says I have three small internal hemmorhoids. He says if I am willing he can try to band them and maybe eliminates my symptoms. I am not sure what to do. I am not sure what else I can do.

Oh, my. I haven't had the LIS, yet - but maybe some of the LIS-vets here will see your post and offer some information.
Take care! Hope you feel better.

Hi Iaminpain
wow!! not heard this as of yet, and I have read and still read everything on here for months. Are you having spasms again or any pain?? If not, then maybe it is the internal hemrrhoids. How was your recovery? any problems? I had LIS 11 days ago and I so far am feeling great. Hope things settle down for you!!

Hi iaminpain - have you changed your eating lifestyle sweetie? I know that I changed mine for life! I'm so scared of the pain :(.. Hang in there and I would most definitely check back with the docs..

Thanks for all your kind words. The surgeon cut the fissure scare tissue and did an advancement flap with minimal LIS.
I have change my diet and am extremely careful what I eat. My BM are soft but I get ache after each BM for about an hour and then subside. I banded one herrohoid about a week ago and that does not seem to be working. No, I am not sure if I should let him band the other two if there is no relief with this monster. Take care you all.

I'm so sorry you're in pain and discomfort, iaminpain. I know how miserable and worrisome that can be.
I've been careful with what I eat, too - but I had some stinging after my BM this morning.
I don't know about any of this. I just wish we could all feel better!

Hmm sounds like spasms to me. You may want to contact your CRS. I don't know much about the flap proceedure, but I would conanct my Dr. anyway. Bit is sure does sound like a spasm.. Hope you feel better soon
