Diaries/Blogs - separate section?

Postby Savaici » 16 Apr 2013, 10:52

Thought I would post this here as it has the most views.
What do members think of a separate part of the forum headed 'Diaries/Blogs' and a little description. A lot of us keep diaries of our fissure-days-of-hell, and it might be a useful place for new members to look at. We can make it visible only to members, so that it is not spread out over the internet.
Let us know what you think.

I echo that Sav!
I was/ (still am) really interested in reading the diary accounts from start to end/ or ongoing in some cases, as it really helps to find someone in a similar situation to yourself and to plot your progress somewhat against someone elses (even though, I add, we are and can all heal differently!)
I'm guessing that when the blogs/ diaries come to an end and they have a successful outcome - they get moved into the "Success Stories" section ??? (Just thinking you could have my fistula blog, for example, in several sections, like in "Blog/Diaries" "Fistula Surgery" and "Success Story"???!!!!)........ Image

Absolutely, ETO!
When I move things, I can leave shadow posts in the places the posts were originally, so that is a good thing.
Glad you both like the idea. Image

Sounds like a great idea!
January 2013 - Diagnosed with fissure. Eventually turned chronic.
History of IBS and anxiety disorder, along with fear of using bathrooms other than my own caused it.
Tried Diltiazem, but eventually developed a rash.
LIS surgery scheduled August 26th.
