Harper, sorry to hear about your ordeal. I’m a runner as well, after my surgery I took 10 weeks off before I started running again. I was being very cautious and didn’t want to take any chances of Re injuring. Instead I took short walks. Different people will respond differently, so it’s hard to say how long you should rest. When I started running again, I went out very slow and short distance to see how my body would respond. It felt good so I did more distance each time. In the ione month that you didn’t run, were there any issues?

I was still sore but i think from the surgery.: do you ever get sore?
I hve some weeks that are sore and others I wonder if it's even there, but the sore weeks remind me how bad it can get!

Hey everyone - I got sick a few weeks ago and something flared up, went to the crs and they said it looked like something popped.. I went in for a follow up and they said nothing was there. I also got Botox because my aF is still not healed- been 17 months! Had 3 LiS and Just had Botox Wednesday.
I am getting this dull ache when I sit down, it’s a constant dull ache the past three weeks... it’s mostly at night. It’s driving me crazy!
Suggestions anyone?
It’s not the normal AF throb, this is a dull ache that is constantly there...

It might be worthwhile to get an MRI to check for a possible abscess or fistula. So sorry you're still not cured after so long.
8/16-12/16: Fissure due to antibiotics
5/17: Botox to sphincter, fissure healed
9/19: Trigger point injections and pudendal nerve block
11/19: Botox to pelvic floor
8/20: Botox to pelvic floor in new location.
On and off in pelvic physical therapy

Ugh! Do fissures normally cause the dull aching all day?i never had the dull ache, that’s why I’m curious!
Hope it’s not an abscess or fistula

It depends from person to person. You've had so much done to the area in a relatively short time frame that it could just be irritated.

So it’s a thrombosed hemorrhoid, anyone have experience with these?
