New toilet seat heals posterior fissures

Postby JHH » 12 May 2013, 13:30

Sounds almost too good to be true, but check it out yourself:

Im using the poor mans version, a gloved finger to support the area, and now after a week, Im pretty sure Im getting results. BMs feels different, and I no longer have that sensation/pain in the fissure site. (maybe caused by small retears?)
Anyway, judge for yourself :D
- Fissure developed in Jan '13
- Started rectogesic in Feb '13 and diltiazem Apr '13.
- Got botox Jun '13
- Healed by Okt '13, although I still had some irritation for about a year.
- New fissure April '22, healed June 2022
- New fissure 24. December 2023

It looks very interesting, but it doesn't appear that they ship to the U.S., unless I missed something.

Dude. I totally ordered one... I will post updates. I ordered it from germany. It cant hurt and the clinical trial seemed promising. After all, they use finger support during child birth so people dont tear. Im also going to use my fingers until the thing gets here.

So... You guys just put your finger in your ass before taking a poo?Image I've thought about doing that to protect the fissure but I figured it would just make the anus stretch more.

No no no do not do that. Watch the video... Its perineal support, the area below the tail bone but above your butthole. Its like you are supporting the back wall of the colon/ rectum. U dont touch your butthole. I did it this morning and it felt pretty good but only time will tell. It actually helped me relax a little more to poop so at least it had some benefit. Is your fissure anterior or posterior?

Ok. I couldn't get the video to work at first but now I've watched it and I get the point. My fissure is posterior so I guess I could try using a finger to support. Do you think it might help even though stretching has never been a problem for me and the poo usually comes out easily anyway..?
