Botox and Dilation

I have 2 chronic anal fissures and 2 new fissures (acquired in the last month) and I am miserable. I had fisurrectomy for the chronic ones 9 years ago and it was a huge mistake. Severe pain and I wasn’t able to heal until I started taking Miralax. I’ve been able to manage those two fissures for the ...

Dilation with Sentinel Piles?

Has anyone been able to try dilation with sentinel piles? I have an anterior and posterior sentinel pile with active fissures, and a skin tag from a past hemorrhoid. I want to try dilation, since some people have had success, but I don't know if I can with the piles in the way.

Anal dilation by doctor

I have had to take 30 mg of methadone daily for about five years to treat a neurological condition. Constipation is often severe as a result because opioids pretty much stop peristalsis.
