I’m updating, but not much to say. Things are still generally the same. I have not made the progress I was making before the set back. Im really not sure what to do now... it’s 5 months in. I really don’t want any surgery.. so I’ll keep on going for now. Apple... yes, I support myself during a bm too.

Apple, my fissure is inside. I can’t see it at the moment... but it feels like hell! Abu, Ye, I’m in a whole lot of pain again, during a bm and all day/ night after. It’s not easing up any... actually feeling worse.... over the last couple of weeks. No idea what to do about it. Really scared to see ...

I think the idea of a fissurectomy is to freshen up the edges so it heals properly. Maybe you will have to use some nitro or diltiazem after to promote blood flow?
I’ve not heard of it being stitched up before..... but if he’s done it loads before he must have confidence in it.

I felt the fissure sting during bm. Ugh. Feeling like I’m back to square one!
It’s crazy... I was so nearly there!! Gutted.
