I had mine just 5 weeks ago but am experiencing problems now with stitches still in place/pulling out that bleed, get infected and become painful. Also there appears to be a red raw patch around the base of the wound and a small hole to the side of this. Is this normal? Any tips on improving my situ...

... on Xmas day :( oh and he is banding those hellish hemmaroids, said he wouldnt cut them as it would increase the pain so i think the advancement flap will be big. He wont do the LIS as my internal muscle has been damaged by childbirth. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Has anyone had or heard of an advancement skin flap surgery, where they cut skin and move it over the fissure and stitch it? One of my docs mentioned it, but don't know of anyone who has had this done. Sounds like it would work??

...or something like that. Anyone heard of it? Anyone have it done?
