Three Weeks Post-LIS

... so there were no more adventures with passing out and throwing up. When I booked the follow-up app, I insisted on seeing a different doctor at the Rudd Clinic, so today I saw Dr. Sternthal. He is way better than McKenna! He was gentle and compassionate. While he was inspecting and poking, he hit ...

Re: Pain seems unbareable

... but I hear it has had good results for some here. I really hope it works for you. I really hope I didn't contribute to your bad experience at Rudd ... I can imagine after hearing my story it would be very difficult to feel comfortable in that place! I think it's a great idea to go back to ...

Re: Pain seems unbareable

... to wait long, I know that will be hard, maybe your GP can get you into a CRS sooner by saying it's an emergency after the treatment you got from Rudd. I can't believe they're still in business!! I hope you get some help soon, and I hope the whole ideal didnt leave you worse off. My heart goes ...

Re: Pain seems unbareable

... have to worry much about delays booking the surgery. I got my LIS the day of my follow-up appointment 4 weeks after the doc gave me the dilt. The Rudd docs are quite prepared to do the procedure then and there, so be ready! I really, really hope you can get sedated. I admit I'm a real whimp, so ...

Re: Hospital referral hadn't been put in! - negligence

... and had a similar problem to you when it came to the referral. I went to my GP and he said he would send in a referral to a place called the Rudd Clinic here in Toronto that specializes in ass problems. After not hearing from anyone for a week I called my GP. His office said they sent it ...

Re: Pain seems unbareable

... of treatment was going to work it would at least have started to minimize the intensity of these somewhat already. Tomorrow I am calling the Rudd Clinic to see when I can get in for LIS. I can`t wait another 4 weeks to find out this ointment isn`t working and have to schedule the surgery ...

Re: Pain seems unbareable

... to have a BM more than every other day, and sometimes every 2 days. Granted, I have only adjust my diet and supplements since seeing the CRS at Rudd last Monday and the discovery of this site afterwards. I have tried to combine a little of what the Doc said(high fibre, lots water) and what I ...

Re: It

... RateMDs.com web site. Don't know if you have ever used that site but I have found it very useful when looking up info of Doctors. Not many at the Rudd Clinic seem to be listed although Rudd himself is. Like I said in my previous post, I am not out to slam McKenna because he obviously has a lot ...

Re: Pain seems unbareable

... Thanks for your input, both of you. I wonder if anyone (CRS) in the Toronto area does Botox. I would think it being a accepted treatment that Rudd would offer it but they don't from what I've read. I may try to get an appointment with the other Doc who did my Hems and see if he would be willing ...

Re: Pain seems unbareable

... to guess, I'd put my money on it being a fissure. The main thing to consider IMO is whether anyone has visualized the fissure. It sounds like the Rudd Clinic actually visualized it when they scoped you. If that's the case, then it's almost guaranteed to be a fissure. The fact that another doctor ...
