What's the wisdom here for how long it takes for a fissure to be well healed? Im dealing with my second one and it's a real balancing act to keep things soft and moving along without reopening the fissure. Sometimes my BMs are a bit firmer and drier and I can feel things being stretched a bit and being a little grouchy for a few days. I'm wondering when this thing will finally "toughen up" Seems like it takes a long time. I take Miralax every night but I'm starting to wonder if things will ever be normal again and if another surgery is in my future.
