Kim wrote:"Ashes to Oslo"... the name of my next book, Corsi! It's a spy novel about American, Norwegian and Bosnian double agents who meet in Scotland while recovering from AF... Image
Hope you are doing OK and don't breathe too deeply for a few days! :) Image

No breathing here, I promise...this volcano is really causing problems here...last time it went on for 13 months! Airplane companies will go bankrupt if this continues, and so will other companies.
Looking forward to reading that novel honey :)

...unless of course Dazzy decides he can come stay with him for another Scottish tour...
Well, Grumpster is home again, after a year and a half of pretending to be the roaming gnome! He sure has some stories to tell...thanks for the autism awareness info, Cheryl!
Oh, gotta run, he's calling for another cigar...
"Hey Grump, I have the stereo up as loud as it will go, dammit!"

I just read through this entire thread and can't believe you all sent a plush fissure toy around the world Image Took a few pages to figure out what was happening before I got it :)

Boy, you really know how to spoil the guy, Kim. And take pics of him for all the world to see. I guess I just wasn't a very good host. I was (and am) too busy with my own interests to take him to any exciting places around town or provide guitar music, cigars, and all of the other interesting aspects of living that you provide for him. I guess I just feel "good riddance" to him and all that he represents. May I never see him or another AF ever again!! Dazzy had big plans for him. Maybe when he returns to posting again, he might invite him across the pond for another trip!

Tabby was a very nice and creative host and photographer!

This is hilarious! How is the grumpster these days? Has he travelled at all since last year? I had to comment so it will go to the top! Great mothers day read! Love the pics! I once took pictures of my best friends wooden elephant all over Mexico because my BF couldn't come... Ellie's been around too....

I loved reading it too, Elphie! What a laugh!! The travelling fissure! I have this vision of the parcel being opened by customs officials and the look on their faces. Sitting here, grinning like a Cheshire cat having looked at all the pics. Being mad about photography, I would have enjoyed taking him out and about for some happy snaps, in-between cigars, pipes, pubs, and making sure he didn't swirl his kilt too often. A great laugh, folks!!!
