If you are in so much pain - your fissure is most probably there.
I was told by one CRS that she can not see it, than went to another CRS who also could not see it but he told me that fissures can hide in the folds (which are many ) and that he is 100 % sure that it is there !
Sure enough - during colonoscopy he found it and made a photo of it so I can see the bugger !!!
So - it is VERY common for a fissure to be "hidden" and I would not assume it is gone as long as you have same symptoms - doesn't it sound logical anyway :roll:
