^ What kind of reaction? Oxycodone is a synthetic opiate and usually just causes things like nausea, vomiting, dizziness, and constipation. If it's those then it's probably normal. When I get nauseous from opiates I find that lying down helps a lot. If you're having something like itchiness that could be an allergic reaction, but it's rare for synthetic opiates.

^ Wow sorry to hear :( Allergies to natural opiates like codeine are common but allergies to synthetic opiates are rare, maybe you're one of the "lucky" ones.
Bear in mind that itchiness doesn't always mean you're allergic though. Some people just react that way to opiates. Usually a true allergy is accompanied by other more severe symptoms like trouble breathing.
Hopefully they get it figured out and get you something else to try, maybe a NSAID or something since odds are good that if you're allergic to one synthetic opiate, you'll be allergic to another too.

I think that's one of the codeine derivative drugs. I'm not sure if it counts as a real opiate but it's pretty closely related at a minimum. Given my fun with peripheral neuropathy in the past, I know it's sometimes given for neuropathic pain. I think Percocet is supposed to be a lot stronger but it might not make a difference if the pain isn't too intense.

OK looks like it is one of the opiates (Tramadol = Ultraset) and weaker than oxycodone. There's a strength chart here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opiate_comparison
Hope this one works out for you :)
EDIT: "Strength" means at the same dosage of course, so it's nothing to be really concerned about. If they give you a whole bunch of a weak opiate, the pain relief will generally be just as good as a small amount of a strong opiate.
