bread could be killing you slowly

Postby ouchtear » 06 Aug 2011, 21:06

Please watch this... it may save your life.

I believe that gluten insensistivity caused my constipation which caused my fissure and led to
IBS which continued to aggravate the whole condition..
I kept wondering why a year after my LIS surgery I was not getting better.
I was having levator ani spasms, burning and severe gas and bloating..
I was ready to jump off a bridge when I decided to try gluten free eating for a few weeks.
After three days my levator spasms were gone and all the gas and burning irritation.
Over 4 years of absolute misery gone..
Please talk to your doctor about trying gluten free for a small amount of time..
What do you have to lose...

That's very interesting Ouchtear. You gave me something to think about and I guess it couldn't hurt to at the least cut out as much gluten as we can.
Wow, I wish eating didn't have to be so complicated... I've already become a wreck with the fiber! I've actually been calling my grown kids to see that they've had enough fiber and
eat healthy. I am a huge bread eater and was just talking to Cherylk recently in another post about carbs... Geezz! It's kind of crazy- we would probably all go forward if we go back, and what I mean by that is if it doesn't come out of the ground and/or from an animal then we probably shouldn't eat it... Image

Thanks for watching it..
Keep looking into it..go further
In the long time of Human evolution We have only been eating grains and agriculture for a couple hundred to thousand years out of a few million.
And our DNA was not meant to handle grains too well.
The Problem is that Gluten can't just be cut down.
It has to be totally eliminated from the diet for it to be tested out.
Total 100% Gluten elimination is recommended for about 30 days. It only took me 3 days for my gut to heal..
After 3 days I realized I never want to eat gluten again.
I can still take metamucil which is Gluten free phsyillium husk for fiber.
Plus the special flax millet bread I eat has 2 grams of fiber a slice. I eat buckwheat cereal which is good too.
Quino Pasta is great too.
I am not missing any fiber.
I take just one Magnesium Pill at night.
I use to eat two to three bowls of Shredded wheat 2 glasses of Metamucil and take a stool softner.. Plus try not to eat any meat or nuts.. You name it..
Well I eat a big steak the other night and I know eat lots of Cashews, sunflower seeds, almonds..
Those things I thought were the problem...
Nope it was all the bread and Wheat that was killing me.
I will post some more great videos on the subject...
It is related to fissures.. because it could be the root cause.
It was in me...

I will look into it more Ouch. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and I look forward to your videos. I admit I'm pretty ignorant to gluten and what problems it can cause. I have become a huge bread eater since LIS and thought as long as it's 100% whole wheat that I was doing a good thing...
Your old diet sounds a lot like my new diet since getting a fissure. I avoid eating too much meat( probably eat it once a week) and nuts. Shredded wheat is one of my cereals of choice that I eat often. Hmmm, you've gave me a lot to think about...
