ice pack or heating pad?

what do you use for anal pain a ice pack or heating pad? i am just wondering if heating pad is better then ice pack. currently using a ice bag.

An ice cube in a little bag, put on the fissure after a BM makes the pain bearable, and will also help with the swelling, and helps with hemmies, thrombosed or otherwise.
A heating pad will help with the blood flow to the area, and also helps calm the spasms.
I used both. (Well, not at the same time LOL!)
