Oh my goodness Linda, you are rockin with your recovery! I did the same thing before my surgery. There was a really nice man "smallchange" who posted his experience and was so supportive and helpful to me. I will never forget the hope I got from hearing his experience.

It's one week post-op today and things couldn't be better. Other than an itchy butt (must be the healing) I have no complaints. **correction, 1 complaint...I hate that sitz bath!!!! But I am following orders, took it easy for the most part all week and am back to work on Monday.
My procedure was a simple one with no additional issues and I hadn't let the AF go untreated too long (thanks to finding this place). I really don't know what I would have done without your support...probably would still be suffering!
My wish for today is that anyone reading this and having LIS can recover this smoothly.

The only thing that helped me with the itchy butt (a little) was airing it as much as I could. :oops: I think all the moisture contributes to the itchiness.
