Im having laser surgery for fissure

Postby alexrose » 14 Dec 2011, 18:05

Hello my name is Alexandria,I'm 20 years old. I am very scared to have my surgery. My doctor is going to use a laser for the very bad fissure and also to cauterize some small hemroids I have. I'm so nervous because I'm going to be awake during. I'm more afraid of the shots of local anesthesia. Hasanyonehad shots like that before I'm terrified, butI'm also ready to fix the fissure it hurts so bad I want to cry when I use the
restroom. Thank you all . Image

i think recently there's one boardie here who has tried laser surgery before, while most of the ppl went for LIS here..
Is it a must to stay awake during surgery?

I wish I could talk to them and see how their experience was. And yes I must be awake during. I'm so scared of the shots. Image
