Is it possible to have a deep fissure? I have this wound about 4cm into my sphincter.
Is this heard of before?

My doctor told me i had a very deep fissure and my CRS described it as a nasty little fissure so i would imagine you could have quite a deep one.
4cm sounds extremely deep mind, i am presuming a CRS told you this? (by the way did you get sorted with a new CRS?)

Do you mean deep, as in far up your anus?
I believe I have read of this. Not as common as the ones at the bottom that you can see from the outside.
Have you had it checked out?

I had a tear deep inside, but it was not a fissure. It was from straining so hard when I was constipated I actually tore inside. It didn't hurt at all, but my fissure sure did!!! It healed, but my fissure did not!!! LIS is healing my fissure!! No more pain!!
