Prunes and Colace!

Postby destlny » 01 Feb 2012, 11:47

Today was my first day that i did not have some sort of type of scream of pain. I have been taking fish oil pills, fiber pills, digestive pills, stool softener (at first generic ) but in the past two days i switched to Colace ( 2-3 at night) and eating dried prunes about 6 a day and this morning the pain was alot easier to take. Granted it was basically diarrhea, but i will take that over a hard and very very painful stool.

I would say to keep an eye on it closely. Prolonged diarrhea will set you back almost as much as constipation and will leave you very tender down there. It could also continue the cycle of constipation as diarrhea causes dehydration.
