I've only posted here a few times over the past year, but all of your messages and posts have been very meaningful to me.
I decided to have this procedure done because of the positive stories I've read from everyone here. I try to never complain about this problem, because I have family members and friends with far, far, worse health issues than this. In a way I feel fortunate that at turning 30 years old this summer, this is the worst health problem I have ever had.
Anyway, I appreciate all your support. I'm actually not nervous about this procedure. Actually, following having wisdom teeth removed and a colonoscopy, this is the 3rd time I'll be under anesthesia this year. It's almost a routine these days. Obviously, both of them were a breeze. The wisdom teeth are gone and I can chew food easier, and hopefully this fissure will be gone and I can dispose of said food with just as much ease. Too graphic? Sorry, I had to connect the two things somehow.
Again, I hope I follow up with everyone shortly with positive news. Thanks again.
