LIS: Anesthesia Local vs general vs lighter vs spinal

Hello Members,
I am scheduled for the surgery next week for the LIS and really nervous about the Anesthesia and wanted to get input from the members who had LIS done and would be great full if they can share their experiences pros and cons on different sedation options.

I got general in my IV. Slept in a second, when I woke up every thing was done.

What was your diet? Did you take stool softners.

I am guessing you are asking on the day of op. yes the night before I took stool softener. Since then I am keeping veg, rice diet.

What type of stool softener were you using.....?miralax?
