Is itching healing???

Postby ajl1239 » 24 Oct 2012, 21:59

Hi friends,
Just curious -- is it the case with this condition that itching is healing? I know that's true with other wounds/cuts so I'm hoping it might be the same here?
Thanks!

Itching can be a sign of healing, it can also be an infection if there's weeping present? Another thing that can cause itching is hemmorhoids. Hopefully it's a sign your healing!
Fingers crossed.

Hmmm...I wonder if it's hemmorhoids. Again, today, I had no bloody, but then when I wiped and got to a part of my "crack" (sorry to be so crude) where it felt obstructed, I got some blood on the tissue...
What is weeping? Sorry...never heard of that.

I've read that itching is normally associated with anal fissures but I notice never experiencing any irritation post-bleeding from an anal fissure. The only discomfort I get is the initial burning stinging feeling when a hard stool passes that causes the bleeding. Is what I'm experiencing then still considered anal fissure? Thank you!

Wondering if anyone who has healed (or nearly healed) could describe how if feels in the process.
I have gone from sharp glass pain and bleeding, to just pain no blood, to minor pain. But I now have a more prominent dull ache (like I just banged myself hard on my bum). Is the ache and no pain with BM a sign of healing?
Appreciate if someone can help answer. Thanks.

I got this itch yesterday. I had a abcess for 7 weeks now. I drain it every day andit fills right after a BM. It did not bother me all day yesterday because I never wne tot the bathrooom. I just did now and it seems not to filing up as much. Doc did find a fistula an I meet with him on Monday to discuss the surgery. But the itch does seem to come with the abcess healing.
