The Waiting Game

Postby ryrylou » 28 Nov 2012, 20:38

Does any else play the waiting game like I do? I just had a BM and used my neosporin before and after. I focused on my breathing in order strain as little as possible. I only had mild pain this time, but sometimes I will have the same mild pain and then 2 hours later I'm in agony. I fear when I have a BM later in the evening that I'm going to be in for a long night. sigh....

hi ryrylou,
Yeah, I know that feeling too. Thinking that the pain while going wasn't too terribly bad and then getting hit with the pain later.
Double yes, having to go in the evening is awful for me too.

Yes, I get the exact same thing. Going can be not too bad, just a little uncomfortable..then within the hour I am in considerable pain. I have no idea why there is a delay either??

Thanks for understanding everyone. I thought I was doing good last night. Didn't have any pain 2 hours after BM, so I tried to go to sleep....15 minutes later pain started to build, so there I was again close to midnight doing a sitz bath...Thankfully after the sitz bath pain started to subside, so I was able to sleep. Now, today it's been 3 hours post BM, and I'm still feeling good!
