Calmoseptine cream

Postby jrb » 09 Feb 2013, 05:59

This cream brought me some relief when heating pads, bath, coconut oil and nothing else would! I found some old posts on here that mentioned it so I tried it. I applied it externally-not sure it would be safe to put inside--but you get an Ahhh cooling feeling right away.
It's an OTC barrier cream, but sometimes they keep it behind the counter so u need to ask for it. It comes in a tube. A thick pink ointment, usually used for people w/ feeding tubes, to keep the site dry, healed. Try it!

Hi, glad the camoseptine helped you. I tried it but the cooling effect for me made the sphincter muscle tense up so I can't use it but it's worth a try for those who suffer this painful condition. Suzy
