Re: irritation after healing???

Hey everyone, helllpp!!! I have major irritation on my butt! I am using Nitro for the second time now, and both Fissures are taking me to hell! I have Botox booked in 7 weeks, but I need something now to aid with lubrication and getting rid of the irritation. Not sure If all of the chemicals have irritated me, as I have been on so many different creams since it started!! Help!!! Please. I have tried coconut oil, but I seemed to itch more. Unless I haven't given this time?!
Is Vaseline better? It is difficult to apply anything inside there because it is so painful. Should I use a cotton bud?
Worried about germs getting in there.
These Fissures are taking over my life! I am depressed and my relationship is on the Line?!

Rachael 1984, the nitro can be irritation also, but that is suppose to go away unless you are sensitive to it.
Now the fissures are always irritated and when you have a BM the stools will irritate them more, that is why is so important to keep the area free of any left over stools, sitz bath helps clean after a BM and I cleaning gently with a Q- tip saturated on vaseline, then a carlson suppository with vitamin E does the trick.

Thanks marg. I am in the UK, can I get the Vit E Suppositries here? Not heard of them?! Do you think it wise to lubricate before BM too? X

Rachael, yes, yes, yes, very important to lubricate before and after.
My routine to avoid irritation is one suppository before bed, one after a BM with sitz bath and gentle cleansing the area.
I, like you and others had the irritation problem while healing, my fissure is not longer painful neither I have the spams but it can get irritated if I don't do the routine.
Check for Carlson vitamin E suppositories in the net or local health store, I get them in Ebay. They are fantastic I actually got them because of vaginal dryness to begin with, but can be use for anal irritation also, I am very sensitive to soaps or scented body washes and this suppositories do not give me any side effects at all in my private parts.
