Yes crackin, be careful. I hope you can heal on the Nitro.
I have ordered a bidet and some Vit E suppositories, in the hope to get some relief. I miss steaks, Bolognese, pasta! Eek the list is endless! I want my life back! Image

2 coffees yesterday (naughty huh?!) and a slightly more solid BM this morning... YIKES! But no pain and no spasms. In fact nearly forgot to apply the nitro again!!
I have a new 'technique' for inducing a BM in the morning and it's working really well!!

Crackinup yeah, you are getting there, it took me about 6 months of suffering to get to that stage and let me tell you everyday when two and three weeks passed and I was feeling ok with minimal irritation I was still afraid that my good luck was just temporarily.
But stick with the routine, my friend, don't let go, read what happen to other members that get to this stage and then forget and get a set back, is sometimes devastating.
You are doing great just keep it that way, I am now 8 month in and two month that I am almost normal or normal most of the time, and I still drink my coffee but keep that routine regardless.

I just had an IBS attack right after lunch - must be something in the new soup my stomach didn't like. Sometimes it pays to stick to what you know even with soup!
Anyway this involved me having to hold on as I was on the phone at the time, and this seemed to irritate the fissure a bit. I was aware of something down there for around 20 minutes but it's gone again now.
IBS is so unpredictable. I never really noticed these sudden unpredictable urges until I had a fear of pooping.
Ouch - I just sneezed tying this and it nipped a bit! I get hay fever early on and sneeze like mad... if this starts the thing has no chance of healing !! Image

Crackingup I developed IBS after my gallbladder removal and the chronic diarrhea I take questran to control the bile in my stomach and ease the symptoms, it helps but when I have to go, I have to go, I get bouts of lose stools quite often without any warning, sometimes I get the stomach cramps and pain.
IBS is not fun and for me is unpredictable.

I have IBS too, not nice! Another thing to contend with. Although I used to run a lot, I suddenly developed constipation. Went on holiday to Cornwall, doc gave me Fybogel, which I thought would help. I now think this caused more problems.
Crackin, that made me laugh about the sneezing. Image
I take buscopan for the spasms, and diet control.
I might not eat again, then I won't have these problems!

Oh god Rachael, you're sounding like me!! My plan week one was to stop eating until I ended up in hospital then they'd have to do the LIS.
I do think not eating is a bad idea though. So is eating nothing but soup or doing some weird thing like that.
Pleased my sneeze made you smile :D

I am gonna end up in the Nut house soon. Pretty sure my mind has been altered. Maybe a protest outside the hospital would sort it, demanding LIS immediately!
I am so scared that I am gonna be non existent by the time this is over! I am just under 8st now, was 9, which wasn't big anyway! Was a keen runner. All that has gone out of the window! Please god let us heal.

Yep, me too... although I am just under 11 stone now but I'm a dude not a dudette. I like cycling and weights, although I think my body has been feasting on the small amount of muscle it took me ages to grow.
I haven't done any exercise since before Christmas as we went on holiday then.
Funny thing is I did 10km 4-5 days a week on the bike for 6 months and never lost a pound, then lost nearly a stone in the last 3 weeks. All I needed was a fear of eating and poopers to get in shape. Simples! Image
