Hi Members,
Have set up a Thanks button, which will appear on a topic that you - the member - post. When you have replies to the question/subject that you put up, you may click the 'Thanks' button for whoever you wish, but the Thanks is only for one person. This will then put a number on the 'reputation' which is underneath the member's profile.
There is also a little plus sign over to the right, which you can click if you like a message.

Another little extra: when you have started a post, and on that post you choose the best reply that you have had, the person who you choose has their post turn a salmon colour. In this way, the best person in the original poster's eye is shown when others read the post.
