Does anyone else have this?
I've been on miralax for a couple months and can sit even after a bm now. No more spasms! About twice a month I have a few drops of blood on the last piece of poop that comes out. I guess that the poop irritated the fissure then by the last little piece of poop it bleeds a few drops? It doesn't increase the pain though and I don't have spasms anymore and can sit!
I was just wondering if this is part of the healing process?
Some one told me before that it just means that it is getting blood flow to heal now that the spasms are gone.

I guess that's right... And the little drop of blood is just from the increased blood flow now that the spasms have stopped.
I wouldn't worry del, if you have little or no pain and can sit comfortably you must be recovering well.
As I understand it, a fissure healers from the bottom up, so it could just be your bm grazing the fragile skin covering the fissure. It will soon strengthen and thicken up, and eventually you will get no more bleeding.

Be careful not to stress over this ok.
While no blood is better than a little, I sure went through the same surprises that you have with blood in stool while recovering.
