Let's be optimistic

I know that AF is horrible, but at least we can gain something positive from the process? Mine as:
1. I now eat 100%(sort of) healthy food. I don't drink anything that is not warm water; I don't eat sweet food anymore and I find that actually I don't need them for whatever reasons.
2. I lost 20 pounds in the process and might lose more if AF does not heal.
3. I exercise more. Well not a lot more but 30-60 mins of walking daily helps I guess.
What's yours?

I totally agree.
1. I have lost all my extra pounds.
2. I feel healthier because walk everyday
3. I eat all the good foods
4. I value more the life that I have because now I understand what it means being in pain
5. I also have the chance to read all the incredible stories in this wonderful forum
6. And I'm stronger and know that the positive thoughts are very important in life. Still fighting though but conscious about it

Yes and the three shots of Metamucil per day has done wonders for my triglycerides.

1. I am so much more grateful for my good days and bad. I feel like before my af I took life for granted a little bit.
2. I eat super healthy now. Well not super..but I really appreciate and enjoy when I do eat good meals and snacks.
3. I have become so much stronger. I feel like super mom! New baby, AF, a husband who works all day, house chores and cooking AND fitting in my sitz baths a couple times a day. Life is crazy at the moment.
4. I feel like I could totally be a butt doctor and nutritionist now. I've researched and tried soooo many things! Haha
