Needing a Hug

Postby Deleted User 2651 » 29 May 2013, 09:32

Hi All,
I have a few different tears according to the CRS. The main one that I've been treating and worrying about has been doing well. But this morning, after a weekend of food poisoning diarrhea, one of the other ones opened up complete with massive stinging and blood all over the toilet paper.
I'm just really low and am looking for a hug.
It's so comforting to know that I'm not alone in this.
Thanks

hi KeepingTheHope
I send you a big hug, and know that you are definitely not alone, I just re-teared today also after weeks of no blood and almost pain free, I can't believe this, but as I always say never loose hope. I won't loose it because I believe that my body can and will heal.
So think positive and don't stress out, because stress is our enemy, haha.

I'm sitting in my office tearing up. Thank you so much.

Yeah, those set backs are miserable! You feel like it's back to square one, even though it may really be three steps forward, one step back! I had a little bleeding yesterday after over a week (maybe 10 days) without a noticeable set-back. It definitely bummed me out! An extra sitz bath and heating pad last night helped me feel I was doing what I can. Today I looked at my week by week numbers (I give each day a 1 to 10 pain rating) and I can see progress over the weeks. So, a hug to you and hope the next day or so are better!!!! Image

Hang in there! I look at it a bit like hiking a mountain: every trail has switchbacks where it feels (and looks!) like you're headed right back down where you started. It's just a long trail, and from the right perspective you would see that you are actually making progress. Keep the faith that you'll make it to the top of the mountain! And the view there will be all the more exhilarating for the pain you endured getting there.

Feel better love! You're not alone and I'm so glad I'm not either. I wish we could all meet and hug. Haha it will heal, you will heal and you'll look back and say wow I can't believe I went through that and feel stronger! There's meaning and purpose in everything we go through, I believe. Keep the faith and keep trucking on! :)
