Coconut Oil and Sea Salt - Best ways to apply?

Postby mirrorimage » 04 Jun 2013, 18:23

Hi guys,
Dealing with 2 fissures at the same time right now so wanted some advice on the best ways to apply coconut oil to the area.
I have tried putting it on my finger but it just "melts" before I can insert my finger. Have tried using a syringe before which really did the trick but I feel the syringe is too rough on the skin, especially with the new fissure!
Also, I have heard sea salt is a good thing to use! Makes sense but I was wondering do I put it in a bath or try and apply it directly?
Any advice/experience would be great!
Thanks!

With coconut oil i find u have to be quick, i lie on my back legs in the air and apply a small blob of coconut oil to my anus by holding it in the opening and pushing ever so slightly then my anus seems to suck it inside without having to push my finger right in.....hope that helps u! Good luck
