Oh, well, I always bleed when having BM, a little less the last weeks.
I really regret having a hemorrhoidectomy, I rarely had big problems with the hemorrhoids, but it was irritating to bleed sometimes. They said it would be painfree and that I would be back to work in "no time", but I was 3 weeks off work and had huge pain afterward.
So it's not very common to bleed when having a fissure?
It was dripping into the bowl this last time.

I think its actually pretty common to bleed with fissures from what I have read....I think I am pretty lucky that it was a small tear and I have a great doctor who acted pretty quickly...I had a massive problem with constipation and I gotta sort that out .......and the fact my diet was poor and I never drank water didn't help but I have changed that and see how the fissure goes with the Recto...I have never had hems....this is my first experience with any issue...cant believe they told you would be pain free buddy...a mate of mine had surgery and was in agony for two to three weeks. Most people on here talk about spots of blood ...not sure how heavy the bleeding can get though
