Alternative treatments along with nitro

Hi guys,
I was wondering if it is ok to use alternative treatments that have been popular here - manuka honey and coconut oil along with the nitro or not. Has anyone tried that or do I have to stop using the nitro.
Also, if some one has what schedule should I follow - how much time gap should I leave between applying the nitro and the other stuff. Also, is it ok to use mnuka honey and coconut oil together or should I try one at a time

howtobepositive Hi there, in my experience while using nitro, I waited for a few weeks before trying anything else to let the nitro works, then because the irritation before after the BMs was too much to handle even after the sitz baths I started lubricating with Vaseline before the BM, sitz bath and then nitro.
In my case nitro help but I developed a reaction to it, after three months, so I decided to try other things to help me heal.
I guess is a matter of personal choice.

I usually put the honey on at night before I go to bed, as it gets very sticky and would be uncomfortable to be like that going about my usual business.

Remember the nitro promotes blood flow and, therefore, healing. It certainly worked for me.
The others - honey, coconut oil, Vasoline - are topical and help with the discomfort.
I only use nitro once a day - at bedtime - since it messes with my head.
