How to apply Diltiazem

Postby Rachael 1984 » 04 Dec 2013, 01:28

Hello everyone!

I am a little confused!? How do you apply Dilt? The instructions on the tub say to apply externally, but the pharmacist told me internally! So which one is it!? Surely it won't relax the muscle if it doesn't go inside! Also they told me it has a shelf life of 28 days. Is it okay to store it in my Bathroom!? Answers please from all you Dilt users!

Hey R

I applied my dilt inside, and had it stored in the bathroom.

I used what fitted on my fingertip. Any more, and it would run all over the place :)

The further inside you can get it the better it will work. But don't hurt yourself. It isn't meant to be like torture. A little bit bigger than a pea sized amount. I also used a non-latex medical exam glove. (One hint ::: If you do use medical gloves, you can cut the fingers off of them and just slip your finger into each one of the now cut off fingers. That way, you get four applications out of one glove. You can't use the thumb part since it's too short. But it's much less costly that way)
