Has anyone tried botox to relieve the prickling, irritation and if so helped? Any other suggestions? With what method did you heal and are experiencing this?

Alyssa,

Have you tired or considered the use of PurO3 Ozonated Organic Olive Oil Skin Salve on the area that you are getting discomfort? This product works well on sensitive skin. If you have not tired the product, you may want to check out some of the posts on our board and on-line.

Alyssa,

Take a look at the VeronicaLikes success stories as she used the olive to help heal a fissure. When I saw your recent post, I was just wondering if this may be something to try first before going down the Botox path.

Been 13 months since my botox now, and I hardly ever feel anything from back there.
Guess we just need time to fully heal :-)

I have pain/ irritation almost everyday despite being declared healed; some days it is more intense than others...last month, I had 9 good days (mild)... size/ softness of my stool does not matter, it still irritates the area. Sitting for long periods of time make the burning pain increase...

Alyssa, it could be your nerveends that needs more time to heal. Some say up to two years for nerves to regenerate completely.
It could also be something else like levator ani, but I think doctors should be able to diagnose that.
Regardless, I hope you get better with time!

I have been diagnosed with pelvic floor dysfunction; I continue to bleed when I have bm and my bum stays sore all day long. I just want this pain to subside and be normal again... I want to be able to poop without any pain!
