Symptom Update

Postby ButtQueen » 07 Feb 2014, 05:52

Since three or four past days I have begun having this super achy and bruised, swollen feeling up my anus after my BM. The sensations last for 5 to 6 hours and during this it even hurts to touch on there. Though, the BM itself does not cause much pain, only some discomfort I'd say. What is this new symptom? Anybody relate to this?

Yes, I went through this quite a bit, when I was declared healed. Big BMs, not painful in themselves, would leave me feeling bruised and sore for a long time. Maybe your BMs are too big and you should cut down on the fibre a bit. Figure out what makes your BMs bulky. I gave up the metamucil, and that helped.
Sorry you are having new problems! There seems no end to the different ways fissures can cause problems!
Nifedipine/lidocaine, no help
Diltiazem, effective, but caused major rash
Nitroglycerine, effective.
Topical estrogen for final healing.
Gentle heat to bottom - pain relief, muscle relaxant
Kondremul mineral oil
Time - lots of time.
Status - Healed!
