Blood circulation in pelvis

Postby Keesia » 06 Aug 2014, 04:21

Since I have had AF, I often feel like my pelvis was cold, like there's no such a good blood circulation! Even if the weather was hot and I was sweatening, my pelvis is still so cold... Last week I tried acupuncture and it was a success. I hadn't felt for a long time such a good blood circulation and warmth in my pelvis, I totally relaxed - acupuncture worked for me, but unfortunately it didn't last. I'm definitely trying that thing again.

I think a spike mat can work too. Because I can't have acupuncture everyday, last evening I tried my spike mat instead. First I felt my pelvis and lower back were very sore when I was laying on the spike mat, but then laying on the mat started to feel very good. I relaxed (which is not so easy when one has AF) and felt like there was a better blood circulation in my pelvis. I almost fell asleep.

Do you have the same problem, cold pelvis, and how do you help that?

I had a great experience from acupuncture, so I searched some more information, and this study says AF can be healed by acupuncture: http://www.goldenneedleonline.com/libra ... upuncture/

Have you tried?

Keesia,

I've scheduled an appointment for acupuncture for this Friday... So I will see how it goes; hopefully it helps eliminate the remaining chronic rectal pain the persists after my fissure has healed.
2/14 Fissure developed
3/14 Diagnosed w/ fissure given Nifedipine
4/14 Referred to Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy=Pelvic Floor Dysfunction
5/14 Fissure declared "healed"/chronic anal pain persists
9/5/14 Botox to pelvic floor
9/22 biofeedback

Keesia, have you tried a heating pad or hot water bottle? They can be very soothing for fissure pain, and in your case could help your pelvic circulation and feeling of cold.
