Last checkup I was told by DH it was about a hair thickness but they cannot see the top of it (at least 7mm I suspect). But size isn't everything as it hurts like hell! I have reservations about getting surgery for such a "little fissure" as my CRS called it but I have had it for 8 months and am tired of it running my life...

Hi msimon, I had a double fissurectomy last year, after 4 years of struggling. Apparently they were pretty chronic so after my surgery, I had a look at the surgery notes, I had 2 anal tags 10x7x6mm cut away in order to remove the scarred tissue so that it had a better chance to heal.
