Is it possible for a fissure to re tear by having sex? (vaginal of course) I'm asking because I've been too scared to try, even if my boyfriend says he'll be super careful.. I might not feel the retear until hours later.. It's been almost 7 months since i got my fissures. One is healed, one is 99% healed(I hope). I'm learning to live with the remaining discomfort, and not that sex is THAT important but.. I do miss it And i know I'm not the only one..

I dunno, Soey, it seems to depend and vary from person to person. I can say that for me, sex has not caused pain or tearing.
One factor is physical stress from penetrative sex - yes, your boyfriend can be careful, or you could have non-penetrative sex.
The other factor is contractions from your orgasm. I didn't find this to cause problems, but I guess that could vary a lot between people.
I think it's important to try, but be careful and take it really really easy.

It has not caused any problems for me. But then again if I was having pain then I wouldn't be into it for that reason. But when I'm feeling good it has not caused any re-tears.
