Aloe Vera or Bio Oil?

Postby jay2502 » 29 Oct 2014, 12:23

which ones it more likely to soothe the anal area and promote healing?
im talking getting rid of the redness aswell'.

i was on steroid cream for 2 weeks but was told to stop it after 2 weeks as it can cause damage if used too much.
i can also feel the soreness and see the redness coming back after stopping it so i dont know what to do next.

NOT coconut oil, it does not work !!

Well the bio oil didn't do any harm. Was quite soothing I guess.

The aloe vera gel has flared the area up and now im in pain

Hi msimon, who has had stapling? I don't see anything about it on this thread? It does sound brutal......
Nifedipine/lidocaine, no help
Diltiazem, effective, but caused major rash
Nitroglycerine, effective.
Topical estrogen for final healing.
Gentle heat to bottom - pain relief, muscle relaxant
Kondremul mineral oil
Time - lots of time.
Status - Healed!

Its one of those 99.9% pure aloe bottles.
But there seem to be a whole host of other strange looking ingredients.

I may well try buying an Aloe plant and have another go.

I reacted to aloe vera too. My actual cheek skin went red inflamed and rashy!!
Suffering since June 2013

Methods tried:
GTN cream - migraines!
Manuka Honey / Coconut oil / Aloe
tag excision X 2, botox x 3
Dilatiazem
dilatation 2 X daily + Retin-C Vitamin Scar Treatment Oil 2 X daily - best thing ever.
Now pain free 2/7/21
