have been using miralax usual dose but the bowels disinergrate when flushed and have to go at least 5 times a day tried not taking smaller amount but are a little harder but still fall apart. is this what happens

I think the effect of the Miralax depends a bit on what you're eating as well. You might try eating a little more soluble fiber as it helps "gel" things together (but softly)--things like pears, sweet potatoes, avocados, or Citrucell. I hope that helps!
